Giới thiệu câu lạc bộ

Associação Atlética Maguary (popularly known as Maguary) is a Brazilian football club from the municipality of Bonito, in the state of Pernambuco. It was founded on May 1, 1971, and its official colors are blue and white. The club was originally founded as a recreational activity for employees of Indústrias Alimentícias Maguary, a juice manufacturer and exporter in Bonito.

Its main sport is soccer, and it is considered one of the most traditional teams in Pernambuco. Maguary was a club of great importance to amateur soccer in Pernambuco in the 1970s. In 1977, the first Second Division of the Pernambuco Football Championship, later known as Série A2, was held. This competition was held exclusively for clubs that did not qualify or meet the requirements of the Pernambuco Federation to compete in the first division, and whose club was crowned the first champion of that edition. In its entire history, the club has participated in the championship only once, culminating in the state title. The following year, in 1978, the championship was suspended due to lack of investment and only returned 18 years after the first edition. In the meantime, for almost two decades the club was remembered as the "First Pernambuco Champion of Series A2" of the state and between the years 1980 and 1990, the club took a leave of absence and ended its professional activities, withdrawing from official competitions organized by the federation.

On May 5, 2021, with the announcement of its current directors; Ytalo Pontes and Carlos Maurício Figueiredo, Maguary was reactivated and will be able to compete in official competitions.

Currently, Maguary plays in the first division of the Pernambucano Championship.
